December has certainly flown by. As I sit here writing the last Sunday evening update of 2019, I can honestly say that I'm looking forward to this week. I know that we have done some silly little things like "jean-gle bell" days and funny Christmas cards, but I really feel like it has helped us through what can be a very daunting month to be an educator. If anything, it really has helped me remember the importance of the people around me. How it important it is to not take ourselves so seriously, to let our students see us laugh and be "human". Here is to a great finish to 2019 and a strong start to 2020!
Here are your STAFF NOTES for this week! When you look at the weekly calendar on staff notes you will notice that there is a lot going on this week after school and in the evenings. I'm sure your own personal schedule is very similar. This is a good time to make sure that you are taking good care of yourself so that you don't end up running on empty the next few weeks.
The gnome has been hidden for the first hunt. He has a white beard, green hat, green gloves and shoes, red clothes, and red/white striped sleeves. If you are the lucky one to find him, please bring him to the office, fill out your winner ticket, and select your treat. GOOD LUCK! Here are your STAFF NOTES for the week! This week's Staff Notes are mostly reminders about a few procedures and protocols to be aware of. Please take a few minutes to refresh yourself with the SRR procedure. On Wednesday we will be kicking off some fun activities for the staff to participate in for the next few weeks. Derek is gone for the week starting Tuesday. Jeff and I will be doing our best to keep up with everything on the behavior side of things.
Like the poem said last week...check what you have filled your bucket with. When the road gets bumpy whatever you have filled your bucket with, is what will spill out. Here are you STAFF NOTES for this week. |
