I hope that you all had the opportunity to get outside this weekend and get rid of some of that cabin fever. I had an incredible weekend that started with riding quads with friends (PSA...dont quad across a frozen pond when it's 40 degrees), a huge bonfire, and laughs with friends. Then today, I was able to go sledding AND biking (only in Michigan) with my daughter. The thing I took away from this weekend is how important it is to live life away from school. Please take that time to remove yourself and do things that you enjoy! The next few weeks are full solid weeks. It will be a great opportunity to push and challenge your students.
Here are your STAFF NOTES for this week! If you had $86,400 and somebody stole $60, would you throw away $86,340 for revenge? Or move on an live? Each of us have 86,400 seconds every day, don't let someone's negative 60 seconds ruin the remaining 86,340. Life is bigger than that and so are you!
It seems like our human nature is to fixate on things that are negative and uncontrollable. Don't allow those things to control you as a professional or a person. We are coming up on a stretch where its easy to get burned out. Stay positive, don't let negativity creep in. Looking forward to a fresh start tomorrow! Here are you Staff Notes for this week. I would love to claim that I didn't post my staff notes last night because I had a premonition that Snow Day #1 was on the way, but....that would be a lie. I won't waste more of your day with a long post. I just wanted to get out the staff notes for the rest of the week.
Here are your STAFF NOTES for this week. Most of you won't read this until Monday morning. I still wanted to get this posted Sunday evening so here it is. Not a long or motivational post, just a simple here is what you need! Hope you all had a great weekend and found some time to step out into the sunshine today for some much needed vitamin D.
