What would you be glad you did...even if you failed? - Brene Brown
The fear of failing is no paralyzing. It can restrict us from stepping outside of our boxes or from reaching our fullest potential. I challenge you this week to reflect and find something you have been wanting to do but have held back. Take that next step and in the words of Nike, "Just do it". I saw this quote during our Covid shutdown. I have used this quote as a motivation in several situations and I have not regretted one thing. Here is your STAFF NOTES for this week! I am so incredibly proud of each one of you! This is the beginning of the 8th week. The positive, get it done attitude that you are choosing each day hasn't ever been more obvious, impactful, and needed. I truly believe that the majority of our students truly enjoy being at school, despite this weird and unusual setup we are in. I can't think of a time when we have had more teachers laughing and we will call it "dancing" in the halls. I can appreciate how hard it must be to get up each morning and choose to bring that energy with you. Continue to bring it! We've got this!
Here are your STAFF NOTES for this week! "Ships don't sink because of the water around the; ships sink because of the water that gets in them. Don't let what's happening around you get inside you and weigh you down"
There is a lot of "rough water" in our world right now. Now more than ever we need to focus on the things we can control and simply do the best you can. If we allow ourselves to let things we can't control, control us, we will find ourselves in a sinking ship. Be intentional every morning to choose a fresh and controllable focus. Keep up the great work, we are doing this! Here are you STAFF NOTES for this week. |
